OWNER is a digital magazine dedicated to covering the business curriculum for your future. You might be the owner of a business, or just the owner of your cubicle with a lot of goals and intentions. We are for you. Our goal is to help you with insight, instruction, interviews, innovation, and interesting perspectives that will be helpful for your intentions. This isn’t small biz versus big. This is old perspectives versus new. This is a gathering point for all those reinvented wheels, those people who were called crazy. This is the carnival of freaks and those who don’t quite fit in.

An Owner works constantly on the following(what we call the Owner’s Mind):
Commit – Commit to whatever actions you choose to take. Commit to the people you choose to serve. Commitment is a daily action.
Invest – Invest in yourself. Invest in your choices. Do the work that’s required to grow. Nothing worth having comes free (and not everything that’s free is really free).
Act – Action trumps ideas. Once you have a great idea, it’s nothing until you nurture that seed into a thriving plant that yields its bounty.
Communicate – We believe that building your voice and also your ears helps any business (any OWNER) thrive.
Connect – There are no solo acts. We all have a team, a community, a family (biological and chosen). Nourish these connections.
Serve – Helping others helps you. The more you can serve the people you surround yourself with, the better it all becomes.
And that’s what we’re here to accomplish: create a digital magazine (and newsletter and podcast and events) that help you work on the above-mentioned and grow your capabilities.
Chris Brogan is CEO, publisher and acting executive editor, as well as a reporting voice at Owner. Rob Hatch is the President of Owner Media Group Inc and the co-founder and Managing Director of Owner Magazine. He is the author of two courses, Work Like You’re On Vacation and Put Success In Your Way.
He is also an executive coach and speaker. As a regular contributor to Owner, Rob writes on the topics of productivity, personal management and success.
